Andrews University has promoted its provost to become the institution’s sixth president and its first woman president, the university announced Tuesday.
Andrea Luxton will replace Niels-Erik Andreasen, who will retire in May after 22 years leading the Seventh-day Adventist denomination’s flagship university.
